Arsen Danielian received his LL.B. degree (1978) from the National University of Iran, and his M.A. in Political Science (1982) and J.D. (1984) degrees from the University of La Verne, California.

 

His areas of practice include immigration and naturalization.

 

Mr. Danielian is fluent in Armenian and Persian languages.

Mr. Danielian was a partner of Halstead, Baker & Olson. He joined the firm in 1991, and became a partner in 1993.  He is one of the founding members of BOLD Law, the predecessor firm of DLK Law Corp.  

Mr. Danielian is married to Hasmik Danielian, Ed.D., a retired Superintendent who last served at the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District of California. They have a son, Alfred Danielian, M.D., FACC, a cardiologist at Healthcare Partners Medical Group in Las Vegas, Nevada, and a daughter, Nyree Danielian Kolanjian, Esq., a shareholder and managing attorney of DLK Law Corp., in Glendale, California. Mr. Danielian is the proud grandfather of two grandsons, Darron and Nicholas Kolanjian, and four granddaughters, Alexis Danielian, Gianna Danielian, Gabriella Danielian, and Noelle Kolanjian.

 

Honors and Awards

For his more than 40 years of dedicated services to the Armenian Apostolic Church Mr. Danielian has been honored by H.H. Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians with St. Nerses Shnorhali Medal of Honor and the accompanying Pontifical Encyclical.

 

Mr. Danielian is the recipient of the 2014 Erwin J. Remboldt Founder’s Award of the Glendale Adventist Medical Center for outstanding philanthropy.

 

Mr. Danielian received an Honorary Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) degree from the Armenian (Yerevan) State Pedagogical University (named after Khachatour Abovyan) on November 23, 2010 in Yerevan, Armenia.

 

Community Activities

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Danielian has been actively involved in community service.

 

Mr. Danielian is the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Healthcare Foundation of the Glendale Adventist Medical Center; former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Armenian Society of Los Angeles; and former Chairman of the Ambassadors of Faith of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America. He also serves as a member of the Diocesan Council of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church.

 

He was the Chairman of the General Assembly (World Congress) of the Catholicosate of the Holy See of Cilicia, Antelias, Lebanon (2002-2009). He served as the Secretary (1990-1992), Vice-Chairman (1992-1996) and Chairman (2000-2002) of the Executive Council of the Western Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America. He was a member of the Central Executive Council (1996-2000) of the Catholicosate of the Holy See of Cilicia, Antelias, Lebanon; Chairman of the Education Council of the Schools of the Western Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America (1987-1991); Chairman of the Executive Board of the Garikian Scholarship Fund of the Western Prelacy (1981-2000); a member of the Civic Advisory Board of Davidian Mariamian Educational Foundation (2007-2012); and a member of the Board of Directors of “be.group” (formerly SCPH) Foundation (2008-2014). He served as the Chairman of the National Representative Assemblies of the Western Prelacy in 1990, 2000, 2003, and 2004; and was the Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the Holy Martyrs Armenian Apostolic Church and Ferrahian School of Encino (1982-1983).

 

He also served as a Member /Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the Glendale Symphony Orchestra Association; Member of the Board of Directors of the Glendale Rotary Club; Secretary of the Board of Directors of the United Armenian Fund (1992-1996); Chairman of the Glendale Schools 2000 Action Planning Team for Developing Pride & Confidence in the Glendale Unified School District (1992-1993), and Member of the Arroyo-Verdugo Sub-Region Advisory Council, Southern California Association of Governments (1993-1994).

 

Mr. Daneilian was the Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Armenian National Committee of America, Western Region; Member of the Central Committee of the Armenian Cultural Foundation Western United States (1997-2000); Member of the Board of Directors of the Armenian Educational Foundation (1992-1996), and Member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the American Armenian International College of the University of La Verne (1990-1991).
